Türkiye’s leading technology event, TEKNOFEST, drew approximately 1.1 million attendees this year in the southern city of Adana.
The five-day festival, which kicked off on Wednesday will allow attendees had the opportunity to participate in numerous workshops and competitions designed to showcase technological innovation and creativity. The event also included thrilling airshows that captivated audiences.
TEKNOFEST alternates between various Turkish cities in even-numbered years and is held in Istanbul during odd years. In celebration of Türkiye’s centennial last year, the event took place three times—hosted in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.
Over its first nine editions, TEKNOFEST has hosted a total of 10 million visitors and received applications from four million competitors as this year’s turnout further solidifies its status as a leading technology festival in the region.
Next year, the event will expand further with two editions: one in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the other in Istanbul.
