State Street Global Advisors, a leading asset management firm, has partnered with Galaxy Asset Management to launch three new exchange-traded funds (ETFs) centered on digital assets and disruptive technologies.
These actively managed ETFs are designed to offer exposure to blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), and volatility management, with a focus on capturing market inefficiencies and staying ahead of emerging trends in the digital asset space.
The three ETFs include the SPDR Galaxy Digital Asset Ecosystem ETF, which targets companies benefiting from blockchain technology; the SPDR Galaxy Hedged Digital Asset Ecosystem ETF, which uses options strategies to manage volatility while maintaining similar blockchain exposures; and the SPDR Galaxy Transformative Tech Accelerators ETF, which focuses on firms advancing in both blockchain and AI technologies.
Anna Paglia, State Street’s Chief Business Officer, stated that these ETFs represent “the next evolution of actively managed digital asset portfolios.” Chris Rhine, Galaxy’s Head of Liquid Active Strategies, emphasized the importance of a flexible investment approach given the rapid pace of developments in the digital assets and blockchain sectors.
This collaboration between State Street and Galaxy aims to leverage both companies’ expertise to help investors navigate the dynamic and potentially volatile digital asset market.
