President-elect Bola Tinubu has been phoned by us secretary of State Antony Blinken, pledging his country’s contribution to Nigeria’s democracy.
In a statement, Matthew Miller, a US government spokesman, disclosed this.
“Secretary of State Anthony J. Blinkin met with Nigerian president-elect bola ahmed tinubu this morning to emphasize his continuing commitment to further strengthening the us-nigeria relationship with the incoming administration,” Rahman said.
“Nigeria would not be a better place to live in or play her proper role in the African nation community,” Blinken said.
The meeting was initiated by us diplomat, according to Tunde Rahman, the president-elect’s spokesperson.
In a statement, Rahman said, “The telephone conversation took place on Tuesday evening, which was open and friendly.”
