US Republican House Speaker, Mike Johnson, praised the bravery of the Israel Defense Force soldiers who rescued the four hostages over the weekend during his weekly press conference on Wednesday morning. He expressed joy that they’re home safely and reiterated his commitment to securing the release of all hostages.
Johnson labeled the demonstrators who assembled on Monday evening outside the Nova Music Festival exhibit in New York City as “shameful.” He characterized those who chanted “Long live the Intifada” and praised Hezbollah in front of the White House as “aspiring Hamas members.”
“Put plainly, it’s reckless conduct,” remarked Johnson.
The flags of Hamas and other terrorist organizations were flown by anti-Israel protesters at the Nova Massacre exhibit in New York City on Monday, according to footage published by organizers.
Among the unfurled flags were those of Hamas’s Izz al-Din Qassam Brigade, Hezbollah, and the alleged Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine subsidiary, Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, known as “Within Our Lifetime.”
The US Speaker also rebuked the DC police for failing to arrest protesters who chanted “Kill another Zionist now.”
