Russian President Vladimir Putin and his North Korean counterpart Kim Jong Un have pledged to work towards the establishment of a multipolar world order to govern the universe.
Putin who arrived in Pyongyang on Tuesday for a state visit met with Kim Jong Un as both leaders expanded bilateral agreement between them.
Korean state media has released further details of the strategic partnership agreed upon by Putin and Kim, with the isolated leaders expressing willingness to establish a new world order distinct from the existing one preached by the United States and her Western allies.
Part of the agreement agreed upon is aiming for global strategic stability and a fair and equal new international order, as well as strengthening strategic and tactical cooperation.
Both leaders also agreed on activating effective channels of communication where each country would come in defense of the other in terms of external aggression by providing both military and assistance in terms of war for each other.
While the West has expressed hostility to both Russia and North Korea, both countries also agreed on not signing any treaty with a third party that infringes on the other side’s core interests nor allows territories to be used by a third country seeking to violate the other’s security and sovereignty.
Putin and Kim also oppose unilateral coercive measures targeting each side as illegal and in violation of the U.N. Charter and international legal norms and coordinate efforts to block them.
According to an unconfirmed report, it says President Putin has also extended membership in BRICS to North Korean President Kim Jong Un, saying the bloc is open to receiving them.
