The Mexican police engaged in a confrontation with pro-Palestinian protesters after attacking the Israeli embassy in Mexico City on Wednesday morning.
The angry protesters were said to be protesting against the Israeli occupation and military actions in Rafah which resulted in many civilian casualties on Sunday night.
The anti-Israel protesters set ablaze the Israeli occupation embassy in Mexico City with Molotov cocktails as they expressed disappointment with the killing of innocent civilians in occupied Gaza.
Reacting to the protester’s attack, the Mexican police engaged the protesters with force, using tear gas to disperse them and masked men threw stones at them.
The incident has gathered much attention within the City as more police are expected to return normalcy to the area as the protesters continued to act violently to the incident.
Israel has met with global condemnation following the deadly attack in Rafah on Sunday which resulted in many civilian casualties with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu describing it as a tragic mistake.
The Italian Defense Minister on Tuesday said there are no further excuses from Israel for civilian casualties as French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the action calling for the Implementation of the ICJ order on Rafah.
