In order to preserve the state’s peace and progress, Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has asked the populace to support the new administration.
Ortom emphasized that he had put the results of the state’s most recent elections behind him and promised to help the new administration.
The Governor noted that he had experienced God’s grace in his life and said that he was moving forward because God had so much for him when he spoke on Tuesday at the transition service to hand over office to the new leadership of the Christian Association Nigeria, CAN, Benue State Chapter in Makurdi.
The Governor stressed that “the new administration will build on whatever I have achieved and do that which I did not take care of” after saying he had done his best in his capacity as governor of the state.
