Kilamuwaye Badmus, the southwest zonal publicity secretary of the new Nigeria People’s Party (nnpp), has denied apologizing to the former chairman of the party in Ogun state, Sunday Oginni, claiming that the current situation is a collective attempt to save the party from the expulsion former party chairman’s political mediocrity and dishonesty.
In a statement issued to the vanguard in Ibadan yesterday, he advised the all progressives congress (APC) to steer clear of the nnpp issue, which they said they are trying to get into, to deter the pending complaint against the APC, Dapo Abiodun, and the independent national electoral commission (inec) for the omission of the party’s name on the ballot papers used in the state’s march 18th governorship election.
The southwest zonal publicity secretary of the NNPP said he has never for any reason written an apology letter to the former Chairman of the NNPP in the state.
