The Nigerian government has ordered the closure of government offices by 1PM in order to get her civil servants prepare for an explosive match between Nigeria and an arch rival, Ghana.
The Decision was made on Monday evening through a memo from the Head of Civil service of the Federation.
“As you are aware the super eagles of Nigeria will be meeting the black stars of Ghana in continuation of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier, playoff(return leg).
“There is a need to mobilise support for the Nigerian Team. Consequently, I am directed to inform you that all offices will be closed at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2022,”
The plan was to have a mammoth crowd present at the venue of the match so as give the Nigeria’s players the confident they needed to triumph.
The match between the super eagle of Nigeria and the black stars of Ghana will be an explosive one as the winner will take part in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
