NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has given Ukraine the go-ahead to strike targets in Russia as Moscow intensifies operations at the war front in Kharkiv.
In a statement released by the NATO Secretary General, he encouraged the Ukrainian forces to strike targets in Russia as he alleged that, Ukraine has the right to defend itself against Russia’s aggressive war.
Jens Stoltenberg added “This is Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine. Ukraine has the right to defend itself. This includes strikes on targets in Russia.
“The decision of NATO has been welcomed by Ukraine who made the call for more ammunition to quell the Russian aggression in Ukraine, adding that they need more defense to cover the sky of Ukraine against Russian missiles.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Western countries against interfering in the conflict in Ukraine, saying it might lead to global confrontation should Western weapons be used in targeting Moscow.
