The MK headed by former President Jacob Zuma has threatened to boycott the National Assembly during the opening sitting of the parliament.
The political party described its action against the election that took place last week after reports of electoral irregularities were announced.
The party in every ramification passes a no-confidence vote on the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to announce results despite opposition from Zuma.
The MK spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhldla said the party is currently for ways to intervene in the electoral process, including seeking an interdict to prevent the swearing-in of election officials.
While speaking about the electoral irregularities, the party also disclosed their intention to keep in touch with 18 political parties about boycotting the National Assembly during their first sitting.
