A member of the Israeli war cabinet Benny Gantz has called upon the French government to reconsider its decision banning the Israeli firm from participating in the Paris Arm Show.
France in a decision disclosed by the Ministry of Defense said Israeli companies won’t participate due to the political situation as French President Emmanuel Macron made the call for a ceasefire in Rafah.
The Ministry spokesperson said the timing isn’t favorable, adding that it would be in the best interest of Israel to stay away from the Arms fair.
Reacting to the decision of the French government, Benny Gantz said he spoke with Prime Minister Gabriel Attal over Paris’s decision to deny Israeli firm entry.
He said it would be a justification of terrorism for France to ban Israel due to its military operation in Rafah as they embark on eliminating terrorist groups posing a threat to the people of Israel.
Gantz in his discussion with Gabriel Attal informed him the decision would glorify Hamas terrorists, persuading him to help France reconsider the decision.
