Israel’s War Cabinet Minister, Benny Gantz, responded to US President Joe Biden’s Friday speech outlining a comprehensive ceasefire deal for the first time on Saturday, according to Israeli media.
Gantz endorses the plan unveiled by Biden and the Israel government is ready to act upon the plan.
In another development, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists on no lasting ceasefire in Gaza until Hamas’s military and governance structures are dismantled and all hostages are released.
Netanyahu declared this following President Joe Biden’s announcement which reveals that Israel’s proposed three-stage plan aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire with Hamas.
Global leaders have called upon both Israel and Hamas to accept President Biden’s newly proposed cease-fire plan, aimed at achieving a lasting peace in Gaza, the liberation of all captives, and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces.
