Tech billionaire Elon Musk who founded the America PAC, is offering an incentive of $47 for each swing-state voter referral who signs a petition in support of the First and Second Amendments. The petition, which promotes free speech and gun rights, seeks to gather signatures from registered voters in key battleground states.
Musk, who has publicly backed former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, urged his followers on X, to participate in the petition and take advantage of the referral offer.
“For every person you refer who is a swing state voter, you get $47! Easy money,” Musk posted on the platform.
Elon Musk added that, the goal of the initiative is to collect 1 million signatures from voters in seven pivotal states: Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina. The petition drive will remain open for the next two weeks.
This move comes as the campaigns for Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris ramp up in these critical swing states, where the 2024 election race is tightening. Harris’s entry into the race has added new intensity, with many polls showing a close contest between her and Trump.
According to a national polling average by The Hill and Decision Desk HQ, Harris currently leads Trump by 3.4 percentage points, with 49.8% to his 46.4%. However, Trump holds slight leads in Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina, while Harris is ahead in Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin by slim margins.
The battle for these crucial swing states will likely play a key role in determining the outcome of the upcoming election, making efforts like the America PAC’s petition drive all the more significant.
