Armenia has recalled its ambassador from Belarus for consultation amid political turmoil between both countries.
This was confirmed by the Armenia foreign ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan in a statement made available on X on Thursday.
Information has it that, Belarus summoned the Armenia ambassador after the Armenian leader Nikol Pashinyan remarking not sitting together at the same table with President Lukashenko.
In line with the summon, the Armenian foreign ministry recalled the ambassador for consultation on the next step to take regarding the relationship between Armenia and Belarus.
The Armenian Prime Minister during a statement in the parliament on Thursday accused Lukashenko of aiding Azerbaijan against Armenia, saying he and other officials won’t step inside Belarus should Lukashenko remain President.
