No less than 66 Palestinians have been reported dead following a deadly aerial attack on Central Gaza by the Israeli forces in the past 24 hours.
According to reporting, both the Al-Bureij and Maghazi refugee camps were hit most by the attack after the Israeli forces raised alarm about targeting Hamas within the vicinity.
Due to the aerial attacks, many innocent civilians have yet again fled the area despite declaring the area a safe zone for displacing Palestinians.
The Gaza Health Ministry has reported an influx of wounded people at the Al-Aqsa Hospital which remains one of the health facilities currently operating.
The Health Ministry added that many of the wounded Palestinians as a result of an attack from the Israeli forces are being treated on the floor as there is insufficient medical equipment.
Amid the backdrop of the recurring shelling, U.S. President Joe Biden has proposed a three-path ceasefire which was initiated by Israel urging Hamas to accept the deal for a lasting peace in occupied Gaza.
The U.S. said they’re currently waiting for Hamas to respond to the ceasefire proposal that was delivered to them by the Qatari mediators.
