Taylor Swift made her return to Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the New Orleans Saints. This marked her first appearance in two games, as she had missed the Chiefs’ previous road matchups.
Swift’s visit comes just before the continuation of her record-breaking Eras Tour, which picks back up this Friday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
The North American leg of Swift’s tour will proceed with performances in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis, before heading to Canada in November. She will conclude her North American shows in Toronto and Vancouver, with the final performance slated for December 8.
Although Swift missed Kelce’s charity event, the Kelce Car Jam, over the weekend, there were still notable attendees, including Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, his wife Brittany, and Kelce’s family. The event, which raises funds for Kelce’s 87 and Running foundation, supports underserved youth in Kansas City and Cleveland.
Swift and Kelce’s relationship gained public attention last season when Kelce invited the “Anti-Hero” singer to a game against the Bears in September. Since then, the couple has been spotted together frequently, with media coverage following their outings.
In recent weeks, Swift has kept a lower profile following a period of significant public attention. She endorsed Kamala Harris for president, collected seven MTV Video Music Awards, and attended the Chiefs’ victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Swift’s support for Harris sparked some debate, particularly because of her close friendship with the Mahomes family. While Patrick Mahomes has stayed neutral in political matters, he encouraged people to register to vote and make informed decisions for themselves, without endorsing any specific candidate.
