As Cyclone Freddy makes landfall in Mozambique for the second time in a month, the country is being battered by rain, strong winds, and flooding.
In the last four weeks, the country of southern Africa has gotten more rain than it does in an entire year.
Having originated 34 days ago to the north-west of Australia, Freddy may end up becoming the storm with the longest duration on record.
According to reports, one more person has passed away, increasing the total number of fatalities caused by the storm to at least 28.
About 22:00 (20:00 GMT) on Saturday, the hurricane made its second impact close to the eastern seaport of Quelimane.
It has been advised that people relocate to makeshift shelters, which include schools, churches, and warehouses.
