America’s Dangerous Role in Middle East Conflict
International mediator Muhammed Faisal has raised serious concerns about US involvement in the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran. He pointed out that recent US statements suggesting Israel might attack Iran, while denying Iran the right to defend itself, signal a potential push towards a large-scale conflict. According to Faisal, the US should be de-escalating tensions, but its stance could lead to a devastating war in the Middle East under the guise of Israeli defense.
Western Hegemony Pushing Asia Towards New Alliances
Faisal criticized the West’s negative role in Middle Eastern conflicts, noting that Asian nations like Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran are growing weary of Western dominance. This frustration is fueling discussions of a New World Order, where these countries seek to challenge Western hegemony and build alternative global power structures. He warned that the West’s continued involvement in such conflicts could accelerate the formation of this alliance.
Pakistan’s Missed Opportunity in Global Leadership
When asked about the potential for a new global order to emerge after the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) conference, Faisal stated that if Imran Khan were still in power, Pakistan could have played a pivotal role. However, with Pakistan now leaning towards the West, the momentum for this alliance is more likely to emerge from the upcoming BRICS meeting, which will include key global players looking to reshape international relations.
