The capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, terrorists launched an attack on a police checkpost, which was successfully foiled, and the assailants managed to flee the scene.
According to the police, the attack occurred at the Shamshato Police Checkpost in Peshawar. However, the police’s prompt response repelled the assault.
Officials stated that the police personnel on duty were on high alert late at night, and their strong retaliatory action forced the terrorists to flee.
