Salihu Mohammed Lukman, who previously held the position of National Vice Chairman (North-West) within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC),has informed Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State that his tenure is limited, predicting that both he and President Bola Tinubu will be voted out within the next three years.
Lukman criticized Governor Uba Sani for targeting his predecessor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, accusing him of engaging in a proxy war on behalf of the presidency.
The former Director General of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) warned the Governor that the campaign to defeat the APC and President Asiwaju Tinubu had just begun and would gain momentum in Kaduna State.
Lukman asserted that no former governor of Kaduna State has implemented development initiatives as effectively as El-Rufai. He added that the issue of the probe should have been managed differently.
Lukman earlier emphasized that removing the APC from power is essential to addressing the numerous challenges currently facing the country.
He emphasized that achieving victory over the APC in 2027 is feasible if opposition parties and Nigerians come together, drawing parallels to the unity among top politicians that led to the successful pushback of the military to the barracks.
Lukman emphasized, “Patriotic Nigerians and democrats need to reengage in the task of national mobilization to create an alternative democratic platform to the APC and all the theatrical performances of registered political parties.
