A body suspected to be that of TV doctor Michael Mosley has been discovered in Symi on the Greek Islands after an announcement about his whereabouts was raised.
The search party which comprises the Deputy mayor of Symi and the police has confirmed the development.
According to the report, the alleged body was found close to a cave complex beside Agia Marina on Symi, closer to the sea by 10 meters distance.
The Mayor of Symi Lefteris Papakalodoukas said they had discovered the body on a rock above the beach when he and his rescue team were at sea in search of the TV presenter.
He added that, since they confirmed the body, they embarked on video footage to document the incident which confirmed it was a body of an individual.
Upon closer look, they discovered a leather bag in one hand of the dead body including an umbrella but with no injuries attached to the body.
An investigation is ongoing for formal identification is put on pending.
