Fulham has announced Tosin Adarabioyo’s departure, as he prepares to join Chelsea. The 26-year-old is among 11 players confirmed by the Cottagers to be leaving this summer in preparation for the next season.
As per football transfer expert Fabrio Romano, Tosin has finished his medical examination with Chelsea, and an official announcement is anticipated within days.
He is poised to be the inaugural signing of the new Enzo Maresca era at Chelsea, following the club’s intervention in Newcastle’s pursuit of the former Manchester City defender.
Maresca is set to be officially announced as Chelsea’s next head coach soon.
The club’s legal team is in the process of finalizing paperwork for the 44-year-old and his coaching staff, with Chelsea agreeing to pay Leicester City around £10m in compensation for Maresca’s appointment.
