An earthquake of 3.5 magnitude was reported on Sunday morning near South Pasadena, Los Angeles.
The quake began at 9:55 a.m. affecting the El Sereno area, just south of South Pasadena but no report of damages was reported at the earliest stage.
The magnitude 3.5 earthquake was centered about 2.5 miles south-southwest of South Pasadena, in Los Angeles County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The quake was felt in the San Gabriel Valley and some parts of L.A.
The earthquake occurred less than a mile from Alhambra, less than a mile from South Pasadena, one mile from Monterey Park, and one mile from East Los Angeles.
Thousands of people in Southern California reported feeling the shaking to the USGS, including those in Los Angeles, Long Beach, Glendale, and the San Bernardino area.
