The French authorities have rejected Israeli defense firms’ proposal to participate in the Paris trade show next month.
The organizers of the event on Friday said the present condition is not favorable enough to allow the participation of Israel firms in the show amid a call for a ceasefire in Rafah by French President Emmanuel Macron.
The announcement to ban Israel from the event came up days after a deadly strike on Rafah which led to civilian casualties, destroying tents where displaced Palestinians stay.
Following the deadly attack, France President Emmanuel Macron condemned Israel’s action calling for immediate de-escalation and the implementation of the ICJ order.
The organizers described the decision as an order from government authorities that no stand should be given to the Israelis wanting to participate in the event.
No official report from the Israeli authorities over the rejection of the Israeli firm from participating.
