Russia Deputy Head of Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has issued a fresh threat to the West and NATO over permitting Ukraine to strike targets in Russia.
Medvedev asserted after NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the military organization is working on helping Ukraine target Russia after an ardent request by Macron and Scholz.
The war between Russia and the West is unfolding and by the worst scenario, Medvedev said as he ordered a fresh threat.
“Moscow is not bluffing when it talks about the possibility of using tactical nuclear weapons”, he said urging the West against interfering in the conflict.
He said helping Ukraine would be classified as participation in the war, as he confirmed that such actions would have a catastrophic impact on the world entirely.
France President Emmanuel Macron and his German counterpart Olaf Scholz during the week expressed their readiness to deploy long-range missiles to Ukraine against Russia.
While the West continued to contemplate actions to take regarding the situation in Ukraine, Russia continued to warn them against escalation beyond the border of Ukraine which according to the Kremlin could lead to a global confrontation between Russia and the West.
