There have been disparities in the opinion of the public and among the celebrities following a New York Jury convicting and finding former U.S. President Donald Trump guilty of all 34 charges in hush money trial on Thursday.
As the news of his conviction declared, there have been divided opinions among the people of the United States as Trump’s supporters declared the verdict as rigged and politically motivated, while others saw his conviction as a win for the justice system.
Amid the saga surrounding Trump’s trial, celebrities have also shared their opinions regarding the incident with many describing Trump as a “Treacherous Criminal.”
Among the celebrities sharing his opinion over the verdict is actor John Leguizamo who posted in support of the court’s decision saying, “Finally the Tephlon (sic) Don has been held accountable! No one is above the law.”
Singer Bill Madden in his post declared how people were jubilating after Trump’s conviction which signaled the popular opinion on his case.
Controversial influencer Andrew Tate described the law that found Trump guilty as flawed and rigged, saying the system has always been manipulated for some people.
Donald Trump Jr. called for people’s support on November 5 describing it as the last chance to save America from being a third-world s-thole as wanted by the Democrats.
He added, “If a former president can be convicted without evidence while they break the law, what would happen to the little guys like us.”
Many await June 11 when decisions will be taken on whether Trump will be sentenced, as information has it earlier that the U.S. Secret Service underwent prison surveillance earlier this week.
