The Arab League Forum has called on China which is also a member of the UN Permanent Member of the UNSC to play a leading role in ending the conflict in Gaza.
The Forum describes the incident that has engulfed Gaza for over 8 months as a turning point in the history of the Middle East, saying the action of Israel has led to global frustration.
The Secretary-General of the Arab League Forum Ahmed Aboul Gheit while discussing the genocide in Gaza called for urgent intervention of China in the regional crisis.
He said the Forum is ready to work in unity with China in achieving regional stability by working to settle the current crisis peacefully and de-escalate the situation through balanced relations with neighboring countries.
Gheit said the Arab League is in total support of the One-Chinese policy as they call for respect for China’s territorial integrity.
“We aim to advance the strategic partnership between the Arab countries and China for a better future, strengthening cooperation mechanisms and finding political solutions to issues of mutual concern on regional and international fronts”, Aboul Gheit announced.
Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, the cooperation with China has become a success story in multilateral cooperation which has enhanced collaboration in politics, economic, social, and development fields.
