A military expert has predicted that should China decide to invade Taiwan, the military operation could be over before international support for the Island.
According to him, within the first 15 minutes of the invasion, the Chinese forces would seize the Taiwan airports, and within 30 minutes, troops would have seized the capital.
There have been possible invasions of Taiwan as the attack in the Chinese Strait heat-up after the CPC announced their intention to take the Island by force should diplomacy fail.
The U.S. has announced their unwavering support to Taiwan as they continues to provide military assistance to the Island which China condemned in its harshest sense.
China has warned the United States recurrently not to play with fire on the Taiwan issue, saying the U.S. interference could lead to global confrontation.
An invasion would spell disaster for the global economy as Taiwan manufactures 70% of the world’s semiconductors.
