The management of American Airlines has adopted the move to fire its legal team after blaming a young girl for getting filmed by a male flight attendant.
The young girls were allegedly carried on footage in the plane’s bathroom by the attendant identified as a 37-year-old man Estes Carter Thompson III.
The suspect was arrested in January for filming the young girls while using the airline bathroom following a charge brought forward by the girl’s family.
In a lawsuit initiated by the victim’s family for the inappropriate video and infringement of privacy, the airline legal team the victim should have known the bathrooms were fitted with recording devices.
This remark brought about intense public grievances against American Airlines who later issued an apology for the error, blaming the legal team for discrepancies in their defense.
The sack which was confirmed by Daily Mail said, “As a result of the intense media and public backlash surrounding the outrageous allegation, we are not surprised to learn that American Airlines fired its law firm.”
