No less than seven people have been taken for medical emergencies after a gas explosion that affected the Chase Bank building in Youngstown.
Emergency crew arrived early at the scene of the explosion embarking on an emergency rescue operation to protect lives and properties.
According to the Mahoning County Emergency Management Agency, the fire thought fluid but has been put under control warning people to steer off the area until further directive.
One person is said to be in serious condition among the seven casualties individuals affected by the explosion, while no fatalities were reported so far regarding the incident.
The spokesperson for Enbridge Gas Ohi has appealed the company’s sincere condolences to the victims of the explosion including their family and community saying the safety of every individual is their utmost priority.
The cause of the explosion is unknown as an investigation led by the State Fire Marshall’s office is awaited to shed more light on the incident.
