Information going viral has it that the members of the Secret Service reportedly held a private meeting with local jail officials this month as they prepare for any feasibility that former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump could be sentenced to prison if found guilty.
In a twist of development regarding Trump’s hush trial which is near its closing on Tuesday in Manhasaid, the Secret Service is getting ready for any possible outcome of the trial.
In a post revealed by popular News media, the Secret agency surveyed the New York prisons with local officials should Trump be found guilty of his offenses after a Manhattan prosecutor acknowledged that the former president could face up to four years in prison for falsification of business records trail and other charges against him.
Trump has 34 charges filed against him including falsification of business record trial while the incident of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot is still debated.
Should Trump be convicted, he’s entitled to Secret Service protection as a former President as they would be forced to follow Trump if remanded in prison.
Closing arguments for the ex-president’s falsification of business records trial kicked off on Tuesday and the jury is expected to engage in deliberation after the conclusion of the prosecution and defense arguments.
