Nearly 500,000 people were left without power on Tuesday morning in the Dallas-Fort as severe thunderstorms issued in the area.
The area has been hit recurrently by thunderstorms, with the National Weather Service issuing a tornado warning within the vicinity during the early hour of Tuesday.
Apart from that, a severe thunderstorm watch was issued through 11 a.m. for 21 counties in North and Central Texas, including Dallas, Ellis, Kaufman, and Tarrant.
