The National Security Adviser (NSA) Malam Nuhu Ribadu has refuted the allegations levied against him by the Deputy Governor of Kano State H.E Aminu Abdulsalam of abetting deposed Emir Aminu Ado Bayero returned to Kano after he was dethroned on Thursday.
This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the NSA Zakari Mijinyawa who described the allegations as false and should be refuted.
According to the Deputy Governor of Kano State, H.E Aminu Abdulsalam accused the NSA of arranging for two aircraft to transport Mr. Ado-Bayero back to the city at 4:30 am on Saturday through the Aminu International Airport.
Replying to the statement going viral on social said, “I read the comments on social media, it is untrue. The NSA did not provide air transport to anyone to Kano.
“Political actors should desist from misinforming the public as law enforcement officials in the state strive to maintain peace and order.”
Despite ordering an arrest warrant for the deposed Emir, there has been no indication of official arrest for the former Emir from security operatives.
