The Israeli occupation forces in Gaza have intensified their operation in Rafah amid ICJ ruling ordering Israel to halt its attack and withdraw from Rafah citing a humanitarian crisis.
The ICJ on Friday ordered Israel to halt its offensive in the southern Gaza city of Rafah and withdraw from the enclave. This ruling came in a case brought by South Africa, which has accused Israel of committing genocide against the Palestinian population in Gaza.
Reacting to the ruling, the Israeli Defense Forces immediately bombard the City of Rafah with missiles in a show of negligence to the ICJ decision.
Aerial bombardment increased drastically after ICJ called for a halt in operation raising the credibility of ICJ’s decision on Israel.
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has condemned the ICJ ruling asserting that the decision of the United Nations senior court will only aid Hamas terrorists in continuing their crimes.
