Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has condemned both South Africa and ICJ over its ruling ordering Israel to halt operations in Rafah citing humanitarian concerns.
Reacting to the ruling, Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu accused the ruling of comprising falsehood and disgusting saying Israel never carried out operations against the civilian population.
“South Africa’s allegations against Israel are false, outrageous and disgusting
We have not and will not carry out any military activity in Rafah that would create conditions that could lead to the destruction of the civilian population,” Netanyahu claimed.
Despite the ruling, the Israeli forces continued heavy shelling of Rafah as they neglected the decision of the UN Apex Court.
The International Criminal Court this week has ordered the arrest of Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant for causing a serious humanitarian crisis in Gaza as a result of the military operation in the area.
