Russia has issued a fresh warning to the British government, saying the Moscow forces would strike British targets should Ukraine use British weapons against Russian territory.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Western allies against sending weapons to Ukraine to use in its fight against Russia, saying any country whose weapons are used to target Russia will be drawn into the conflict.
This warning from Russia came amid the saga involving the transfer of weapons to Ukraine, with the British government expressing their readiness to deploy their sophisticated weapons to Ukraine to use in targeting Russia.
Whilst NATO had warned its member-states against any confrontation with Russia in Ukraine, the British government seems unsatisfied with the decision as they called for an immediate end to Russia’s aggression by arming Ukraine with modern weapons.
Russia has refrained from specifying the British targets but cited the possibility of Ukraine using British weapons as one of the reasons it is carrying out nuclear exercises this month.
