Israel has recalled its ambassadors to both Norway and Ireland over their recognition of the State of Palestine and is fully mandated to become a member of the United Nations.
The historic announcement was made on Wednesday in a press conference, where the Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris says, it’s a “Historic day for Palestine.”
The announcement has been met with dissent from the Israeli government, who after the conference recalled their delegates from the countries, while they mull Spain’s recognition of the State of Palestine.
The Norwegian government declared that, without proper recognition of the State of Palestine, peace in the Middle East cannot be achieved as they aimed to work in tandem with the Arab peace plan in seeking lasting amity to the situation in the region.
Following the Norwegian announcement, the Irish government followed suit in the recognition of the freedom of the State of Palestine, with an official announcement set for May 28.
Many other countries in Europe have begun to rethink the recognition of the freedom of Palestine after a wave of anti-Israel protests stormed the continent in solidarity with Palestine against the Israeli occupation.
Amid the saga involving the freedom of Palestine, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated the government’s commitment to continue their invasion of Gaza to clear the remnants of Hamas terrorists in the area.
The ICC has issued an arrest warrant for PM Netanyahu and his Minister of War Yoav Gallant for perpetrating genocides in Gaza.
