In an inter-denominational church service held in Abuja to mark Nigeria’s 7th consecutive democratic transition, President-elect Bola Tinubu stated that he did not require Nigeria’s commonwealth for his survival.
Rather, he emphasized that his priority was to use the country’s resources to make a positive impact and do what is right.
This statement was made in response to the Presiding Archbishop, Dominion Chapel International Churches, Most Rev Johnpraise Daniel’s call on Tinubu to focus on harnessing the energy, creativity, and potential of Nigerian youths to restore the nation’s prosperity.
The president-elect’s speech was delivered by his wife, Oluremi. In attendance were notable political figures, including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who stressed the importance of integrity among Nigeria’s political, business, and religious leaders. The event echoed the need for hope and unity in Nigeria’s future.
