Sani Zubair, a retired FIFA-licensed referee, has been chosen to succeed Tade Azeez as President of the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA).
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Daniel Olokor lost to Zubair on Saturday in Ilorin after receiving 53 votes out of the 54 accredited delegates who were present.
Kelechi Mejuobi, a former NRA publicity secretary, defeated David Egho, who received 10 votes, to become the next National Deputy President with 43 votes.
At the Elective Congress, Emmanuel Imiere and Ibrahim Fagge were chosen without opposition to serve as the National Vice-Presidents 1 and 2, respectively.
